Educational Requirements:
∎ MBBS (preferably from govt. medical colleges)or MA in Medical Anthropology+ MPH (preferably full-time course); if MBBS, incumbent should be well versed in medical anthropological methods and tools including use of relevant software for data analysis.

Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 4 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Work areas to be covered: Health systems, universal health coverage and health security and health promotion, social science aspects of 'prepare-detect-respond' for infectious disease outbreaks andcontainment of AMR, One Health, health sector corruption and innovation for containment, informal sector providers and drug shops
∎ Be responsible for, and provideassistance and support to the qualitative research activities of the team (e.g. proposal development, literature review, research design and methods,develop data collection tools etc.) under the supervisor
∎ Plan, implement and supervise field data collection activities; recruit, train and supervise junior team members for data collection; tab-based data collection and management; ensure data quality and research ethics integrity in the field
∎ Analyses data using software (e.g., atlas-Ti), interpret findings, draft report for sharing and getting feedback from supervisor and relevant stakeholders as needed; finalize report, present findings in national and international conferences/ ?seminars/ workshops etc. to discuss and update research findings.
∎ Develop manuscript for be reviewed by the supervisor and finalize for submission to Journals; prepare policy briefs, notes,info graphicsas needed; plan & organize dissemination events related to research projects such as policy dialogue, seminar, stakeholder workshop, TV talk shows etc.
∎ Provide any other support as needed by the supervisor.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Candidates should have 3/4 years' experience in qualitative research methods and use of relevant tools for analysis of data, but should also have basic understandings of quantitative methods and data analysis; use of community engagement/ vulnerability assessment tools; experience of work in disaster/refugee situations (e.g., Rohingya refugees); experience in interacting with high level policy makers and practitioners in public and private sectors, and
∎ Should have proven skills in writing reports (in English) independently under minimum supervision(samples to be attached); publications in peer reviewed journal as principal author or co-author is essential
