Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters in social sciences or environmental sciences (sociology, economics, anthropology, development studies, environmental studies) only from reputed universities.
Job Context:
∎ BISR Trust is a non-profit multi-disciplinary research organization. Its research findings have been published in 69 National and international reputed journals. It is doing research work in the field of social and gender, environment and climate change, disaster, economy, business, industry and labour, crime and human rights, political analysis, and health and health care services. The organization is now inviting applications from the competent persons for the position of Research Consultants.
∎ Job Nature: Part-time task-based
∎ Job Location: Homebased
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The tasks of the RC will be:
∎ Text and content editing of reports, drafting research articles from the existing reports and studies, developing and editing policy briefs, developing working papers from the reports, editing text and contents of books, seminar briefs, editing annual reports, etc. The person must have at least 5 international publications in reputed journals and good over written and oral English. Females are particularly encouraged to apply. Both local and international candidates can apply.
∎ Other works as assigned from time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Must have very good quality publications in reputed international journals.
∎ Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Fluency in speaking English and good command over written English. Excellent computer operation skills. Persons having experience of performing the same type of job will be given preference.
