Job Context:
∎ Job Purpose:
∎ This position will mainly provide support to research and management including report writing, communication with team members, coordination with stakeholders, organizing meetings/workshops under the project Public-Private Partnership (PPP) for Rice Breeding and Seed in Bangladesh. In addition the position will organize all research documents and reports..
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Purpose:
∎ Support project management and research
∎ Data entry and management
∎ Monitor and maintain daily calendar of activities and assignments
∎ Facilitate administrative requests related to IT, procurement, common services, work orders, meetings, workshops and visit
∎ Coordinate maintenance of equipment's, supplies, services
∎ Record minutes of meetings, workshops, conferences, visits
∎ Engagement:
∎ Organize and maintain project filing systems
∎ Organize research documents and reports
∎ Check and record files and process documents including Purchase Orders, travel documents, schedule of meetings, workshops, conferences
∎ Make travel arrangements and assist visitors when required
∎ Distribute information within the team members and others related or to visitors as defined by supervisor
∎ Schedule meetings and visits, communicate with participants and ensure participation and relevant documentation
∎ Assist in monitoring budget and expenditure
∎ Process cash advance and prepare bills and charges for services
∎ Delivery:
∎ Assist in the coordination of events as requested by supervisor
∎ Provide logistic support for the participation of team members in defined events, schedule diverse appointments, meetings and travel arrangements
∎ Provide logistic supports in organizing workshops, meetings and trainings
∎ Assist in liaising with partner companies and other stakeholders by requesting additional information and sending information/invitations as necessary
∎ Check purchases against specifications, terms and conditions, statements, maintain appropriate files
∎ Prepare statement from the established budgets
∎ Prepare drafts for letters, invitations/appreciations/cancellations, documents, reports, etc. as per requirements
∎ Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor from time to time
Additional Requirements:
∎ Has basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
∎ Has excellent oral and written communication skills, communicates status of work regularly and in a timely manner
∎ Has good interpersonal skills
∎ Has good organizational skills
∎ Experience of working with an international organizations
∎ Experience in agricultural related fields
Salary:
∎ Basic (27,083 - 52,517) BDT per Month
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Housing Allowance: 30% of base pay per month, Transport Allowance: 12,000 BDT, Festival Bonus: 2 times each year, Contributory Provident Fund (CPF), Returning Mother Allowance: BDT-1,000 per month for 9 months to female employees post-delivery of a baby to support return to the workplace, Medical insurance coverage: maximum US$16,000/year and other admissible benefits
