Job Context:
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES:
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct participative staff capacity assessments for UPG programme and develop a capacity building plan on disability-inclusive ultra-poverty graduation model (identification, prevention, rehabilitation, inclusion);
∎ Implement capacity building plan, through facilitating formal training and on-the-job coaching, with specific focus on disability inclusion issues;
∎ Provide hands on coaching to the participants through home visit in order to build the enterprise related technical skills and enhance their soft skills and confidence to lift them from the extreme poverty level;
∎ Monitor changes in capacity of staff through evaluations and observation;
∎ Cross-checking the selected people with disabilities as programme participants;
∎ Quality control of personalised support processes for people with disabilities conducted by UPG programme;
∎ Collaborate with Disabled Peoples Organisations (DPO) and UPG programme in mapping the relevant service providers, developing and implementing referral mechanisms related to rehabilitation and other basic health services for people with disabilities;
∎ Coordination with UPG programme to ensure referral of people with disabilities to basic health centers and specialized service providers, promoting quality services that address needs, and ensure follow up of those referrals;
∎ Support the roll-out of disability-inclusive tools or the integration of disability-inclusive indicators in data collection systems;
∎ Support and monitor organisational change of the UPG programme related to disability inclusion;
∎ In complex cases of people with disabilities, identified by UPG programme, conduct rehabilitation assessment and provide comprehensive rehabilitation service (functional rehabilitation therapy, caregiver training on home-based rehabilitation) and ensure regular follow-up;
∎ Facilitate provision of assistive devices, accessibility and further referral for people with disabilities in complicated situations;
∎ Contribute to indicator and quality of life tracking related to the progress of participants towards graduation, through monitoring and documenting practices of UPG programme and their staff;
∎ Maintain and update participant files related to rehabilitation assessments, plans and progress updates;
∎ Contribute to the collection of case studies to monitor progress of targeted people with disabilities.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Good communication and facilitation skills with different stakeholders;
∎ Documentation and reporting skill;
∎ Clear understanding of poverty dynamics, geographical and community context, different culture etc.
