Experience:
At least 1 - 2 years of experience in the relevant field (Home based Rehabilitation or experiences in Hospital Settings or similar field)
01-year of internship experience as an Intern Physiotherapist
Working experience in Cox’s Bazar district / Rohingya response will be preferable
Excellent facilitation skills.
Ability to work independently within a Team
Ability to work under specific deadline

Familiar with humanitarian principle
Ability to communicate in a courteous and professional manner with project stakeholders
Ability to work with camp management with excellent coordination.

Ability to prepare activities report (weekly, monthly and quarterly)
Excellent interpersonal skills and high levels of cultural sensitivity is highly desirable.

Experience online data entry as per project needs.

Assist to program intervention in the camp level according to the project work plan
Job Description:
Assessment and provide physiotherapy interventions for vulnerable persons including persons with disabilities through the Static point and Homebased Rehabilitation (HBR) in the Rohingya camps / host community.
Prescription for required customized assistive device (e.g., wheelchair, crutches, special seat chair, etc) of the clients through appropriate measurement and provide device on time to the BNF.
Organize P&O camp (assessment and fitting -gait training) at host / Rohingya camp
Provide caregivers training on continuing home exercise and related therapeutic activities.
Home modification work at Rohingya camps and host community (as per assessment and design) such as installation of ramp, handrails etc.
Ensure the qualitative and timely implementation of targeted services in collaboration and coordination with CDD team, HI technical unit, and relevant stakeholders
Participate in internal and external coordination and external representation.
Close monitoring of activities to make sure they are in line with sectoral quality standards, CDD, HI, and donor requirements.
Ensure that team members are strictly following internal and external referral pathways, and record the referrals accordingly.
Responsible for the external coordination of the activities at the field level
Establish networking with relevant stakeholders, represent CDD in the camps, and liaise with relevant stakeholders.
Design, Conduct, and supervise Therapy Assistants / community volunteers for Conducting Awareness raising sessions for community people and related stakeholders in the Host / FDMN Community on SRH, MHPSS, Disability Prevention, Disability Rights, Disability Etiquette, and other related issues.
Refer the clients to appropriate internal and external facilities and services, including medical services.
Refer the clients to other mainstream organizations at the field level for unmet mainstream services (e.g., food, WASH, protection, education).
Gather and analyze the unmet need data to do the advocacy at the related government and nongovernment offices for ensuring available mainstream services for people with disabilities.
Provide training and onsite technical support to related organizations on various aspects of Disability Mainstreaming and Inclusion.
Support to produce reports (e.g., case studies, lesson learned reports, client's progress report) on short notice.
Any other task/s, as delegated by line manager.
Safeguarding Responsibilities:
Adhere to CDD's Children and Adults at Risk Safeguarding policy, ensuring the safety and well-being of all project participants.
Promote a safe and secure environment for all participants and stakeholders of the project.
Report any safeguarding concerns promptly and follow the designated reporting procedures.
Additional responsibilities:
Perform any other responsibility/ special duty delegated by project and CDD management.

CDD is accepting application for the position of ‘Rehabilitation Officer’ under a project named ‘Ensuring Essential Rehabilitation and Psychosocial Support for the Most Vulnerable in Cox’s Bazar’ supported by HI. The duration of the project is till 30th April 2026.
