Job Context:
∎ REPORT TO : PARTNERSHIP DIRECTOR
∎ The Regional Partnership Team Lead will serve in an instrumental role of overseeing the Activity`s Partnership offices and ensuring integration into overall Activity technical and operational implementation with the Dhaka office. He/she will coordinate with the Partnership Director to lead and implement the high-level strategy for the Activity for the assigned region. The Regional Partnership Team Lead will mentor and support partnership coordinators in co-creation with Activity partners to identify and assess growth opportunities and underlying problems and develop innovative strategies. He/she will provide oversight and coordination among Partnership Coordinators in the Dhaka and Partnership offices and ensure that interventions are appropriate, timely, measured, and results shared. The Regional Partnership Team Lead will also work closely with the Innovation Investment Fund team, MEL team to measure and track results. The Partnership Team Lead will utilize the Collaborating, Learning, and Adapting (CLA) Activity platform to help partners self-assess and grow independently.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide support to the Partnership Director to coordinate with Partnership Coordinators on partnership deal-making at the Partnership office level.
∎ Serve as a focal point for Activity partnerships from partnership identification through close-out. With partners, help identify key opportunities and underlying issues through a process to co-design business concepts and manage partners to realize results.
∎ Liaise with all Partnership Coordinators and Team Leads to promote, act upon, and share best practices and lessons learned.
∎ Supervise Partnership office partnership coordinator(s), Administrative assistant and Communications Assistants if assigned to the regional office.
∎ Oversee the operation of the regional office in coordination with the Dhaka office.
∎ Assist partners in developing actionable proposals that best serve to unlock potential, remove obstacles, or accelerate the growth of farmers, partner businesses, etc.
∎ Support the Innovation Investment Fund team in managing procurements, grants, and subcontracts with respect to Activity partnerships.
∎ Work closely with partners to develop work plan and milestone-based deliverables that align with the Activity's work plans and MEL Plan. Help partners and the MEL team measure and track results.
∎ Facilitate linkages between partners and business development services and access to finance opportunities.
∎ Support partners in adopting the Collaborating, Learning, and Adapting (CLA) Activity agenda to ensure interventions are strengthened to maximize results.
∎ Help ensure that the environmental impacts of cultivating, processing, and marketing of target crops are communicated to the Environmental Compliance Director and leadership and factored into partner work plans.
∎ Promote new technologies and planting materials at the farmer level to enhance production and quality.
∎ Support the Gender and Social Inclusion Specialist and Activity staff in appropriately and meaningfully incorporating women and disadvantaged populations into technical interventions.
∎ Represent the Activity in meetings, workshops, and seminars. Support Communications Specialist in Activity reporting.
∎ Perform any other tasks assigned by the COP or Partnership Director consistent with the overall nature of the project.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 7 years of experience in a private sector development program, preferably with a specific focus on agriculture market systems.
∎ Experience working with USAID and Feed the Future donor programming in a multicultural environment is strongly preferred.
∎ Good interpersonal skills, honesty, and commitment to excellence.
∎ Ability to effectively present and facilitate workshops to groups of varying sizes and backgrounds.
∎ Strong written and verbal command of the English language.
∎ Ability to establish and maintain effective, sustainable relationships with Activity staff, USAID Mission personnel, and the general development and business community.
∎ Strong organizational and work prioritization skills and attention to detail.
∎ Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
∎ Demonstrates leadership, versatility, and integrity.

Salary:
∎ Negotiable based on experience, qualifications and salary history.
