Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Arrange commodities and supplies systematically to maximize storage efficiency and facilitate easy access.
∎ Organize and maintain store facilities at the center level, ensuring compliance with ACF and donor standards for storage, safety, and security.
∎ Monitor and report any safety or maintenance issues, coordinating timely repairs or adjustments as needed.
∎ Receive storage, initiate supply request and disbursement of food supplies and center materials, ensuring compliance with established procedures.
∎ Coordinate labor for loading, unloading, and movement of supplies within the center.
∎ Maintain accurate and up-to-date stock documentation, including stock cards, bin cards, and inventory logs, ensuring all records are readily accessible.
∎ Record all disbursement in-out for commodities, including receipts, disbursements, and balances, as per organizational protocols.Coordinate and document the issuance of food and center supplies to OTP, TSFP, and BSFP site focal points as per program requirements.
∎ Prepare and share timely stock management and inventory reports in line with organizational and donor requirements.
∎ Maintain documentation for audits, management reviews, and donor visits, ensuring compliance with reporting standards.
∎ Ensure all commodities and supplies are securely stored and protected against theft, damage, or spoilage.
∎ Ensure cleanliness of the store through regular cleaning schedules (daily, weekly, and monthly) to maintain hygiene and prevent contamination.
∎ Read and ensure a full understanding of ACFs Gender Minimum Standards & Child Protection Policies, asking questions and/or for support when necessary;
∎ Implement all work related activities with a gender, disability and child protection lens, taking into account the different needs, concerns and ideas of our staff and beneficiaries;
∎ Ensure the incorporation of PSEA and gender equity principles in all policies and activities;
∎ Help build an inclusive office environment where people do not feel disadvantaged or judged according to their gender or limited due to manageable disability.
∎ Objective 1: To ensure efficient, secure, and accountable management of commodities and supplies, including proper storage, documentation, and disburse.
