∎ Familiar with local language / candidate from Chittagong region will be preferable
∎ Working experience with ACF / Refugee camp will be benefit.
∎ Strong understanding and field level experience of Refugee camps and recommended implementation guideline.
∎ Proven experience in team management, supervision, reporting, etc)

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Plan, set, and closely follow the schedule of health and nutrition education topics to ensure systematic and organized delivery.
∎ Deliver engaging and interactive sessions on health and nutrition topics as per the established schedule.
∎ Accurately record the names of participants and details of each session in the health education register for proper tracking and follow-up.
∎ Educate caregivers and beneficiaries about the causes and consequences of malnutrition, the importance of timely treatment, and practical strategies to prevent malnutrition.
∎ Provide clear and actionable education on essential topics such as breastfeeding, complementary feeding, responsive feeding, hygiene, proper care practices, and the well-being of pregnant and lactating women.
∎ Highlight the importance of good hygiene and sanitation, including safe drinking water, regular nail cutting, and proper handwashing practices, to protect children and their families from illness.
∎ Encourage caregivers to utilize the breastfeeding corner, providing support and guidance to create a comfortable and nurturing environment for breastfeeding mothers and their children.
∎ Maintain accurate tallies of all beneficiaries attending health and nutrition education sessions to monitor participation levels.
∎ Record observations, feedback, and concerns shared by beneficiaries and caregivers to assess the effectiveness of health and nutrition education sessions.
∎ Assess and evaluate the progress of caregivers' understanding of health and nutrition topics to ensure knowledge retention and practical application.
∎ Promptly report any challenges, concerns, or problems encountered during sessions to the Nutrition Center Supervisor for timely resolution..
∎ Read and ensure a full understanding of ACFs Gender Minimum Standards & Child Protection Policies, asking questions and/or for support when necessary;
∎ Implement all work related activities with a gender, disability and child protection lens, taking into account the different needs, concerns and ideas of our staff and beneficiaries;
∎ Ensure the incorporation of PSEA and gender equity principles in all policies and activities;
∎ Help build an inclusive office environment where people do not feel disadvantaged or judged according to their gender or limited due to manageable disability.
∎ Objective 1: To deliver effective health and nutrition education to caregivers and beneficiaries, promoting positive behavioral changes that improve maternal and child health outcomes, prevent malnutrition, and ensure the adoption of essential hygiene and care practices within the INF beneficiaries.
