∎ JOB PURPOSE: This position will perform the effective implementation of gender-responsive Organisational development interventions for a particular area or region and contribute to enhancing the capacity strengthening of BRAC staff for achieving BRAC Gender Strategy goals within different programs, enterprises, and departments. Besides, this position will support to ensure safeguarding roll out at field level.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES:
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct capacity needs assessment with BRAC's programme, enterprise, department and prepare report
∎ Develop context specific customized content/ modules and materials (IEC/ BCC) for training/ orientation/ workshop/ forums
∎ Organize/ facilitate capacity-strengthening interventions i.e. training/ workshop/ dialogue/ discussion sessions
∎ Prepare training/ event report, data collection for training evaluation to follow up capacity strengthening activities and update MIS regularly
∎ Visit programmes, enterprise and departments regularly thus to update content/ modules, conduct survey in branch/ field offices to ensure gender-responsive work environment and prepare report on field visit
∎ Initiative taken for safeguarding awareness, conduct fact-finding for case investigation in collaboration with SHRC Unit and support in reporting
∎ Ensure execution of different dialogue/ discussion sessions including town hall meeting and film show at BRAC offices
∎ Ensure close collaboration and coordination with BDC/ DPC meeting/ organization level forums and participate in need based events
Additional Requirements:
∎ Excellent academic knowledge in Social Science, Gender equality, and women empowerment issues in Bangladesh and global
∎ Excellent facilitation, presentation, and interpersonal skills and capacity
∎ Have Motivation and negotiation skills and Leadership and supportive management skills to guide all peer colleagues, Cross-cultural sensitivity
