Job Context:
∎ LOCATION: Four positions based in four project regions. Each position based in any district in Bangladesh under each of the B-PEMS project regions i.e., North (Gaibandha, Rangpur, and Lalmonirhat), South-west (Satkhira, Khulna, and Bagerhat), Central (Faridpur, Madaripur, and Shariatpur) and South-central (Barishal, Patuakhali)

∎ Winrock has been implementing B-PEMS AugroJatra Climate Change, which is a four (4) year project, started in October 2022, funded by the US Department of State (USDOS). Under this project, Winrock is collaborating with the government of Bangladesh, the University of Pennsylvania`s Penn Development Research Initiative (PDRI), and in-country partners at the local, regional, and national levels to combat human trafficking and research the links between climate change and human trafficking.
∎ POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direct supervision of and guidance from the Senior Manager - Monitoring Evaluation Results and Learning, the Regional Coordinator will be responsible for monitoring and supporting on-ground implementation of the project activities. The Regional Coordinator will work closely with implementing partners to enhance the quality of their work and assist in the development and monitoring of work plans. Furthermore, The Regional Coordinator will have oversight of and provide support for all project activities within the designated region. This role will entail maintaining collaborative relationships with technical program specialists and coordinating with local government administrations, government officials, and other pertinent stakeholders in the assigned region. An essential component of this position will involve coordinating with the implementing partners and providing regular updates to the Dhaka office.
