Skills Required:

Additional Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years work experience in Field hospital/PHCC.

  • Ability and willingness to travel to remote and insecure locations.

  • Previous experience of referral protocol and coordination and how to manage obstetric complications often associated with humanitarian emergencies e.g. management of high-risk cases during referral transport related to pregnancy and delivery or newborn.

The Opportunity

  • The Clinical Referral Assistant has a pivotal role within the CEmONC team, serving as the primary link between referring facilities, emergency services, and the internal clinical staff. This individual is responsible for the efficient and compassionate coordination of all incoming obstetric and neonatal emergency referrals. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess excellent communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, ensuring that every mother and newborn receives timely and seamless access to our specialized care. Furthermore, the role is expected to engage with internal and external technical working groups and communities of practice.
