• Minimum 10 years hand on experience in construction project with reckonable period as a QS engineer.

• 2-3 years’ work experience in engineering construction company in abroad will get preference.

• Strong fluency in English.

• Excellent knowledge in Computer and MS Office application especially in MS Excel.

• Strong communication ability with International Engineering company.

• Good leadership, execution skill, smartness, challenges encountering attitude and ability to manage any embarrassing situation

Job Description / Responsibility

• Checking and approval of quantity & quality of materials supplied for construction works at every stage of work. Prepare projects planning and scheduling by using MS-Project software to complete the project successfully within the time.

• Prepare effective planning to develop construction projects and submit to the higher management. Coordinate with employer and consultants/ clients` engineers for getting and complete the project successfully.

• Work closely with Clients/ Contractors/ Sub-contractors to ensure timely receipt of bills; Monitor timely completion of Clients/ Contractors/ Sub-contractors billing certification activities in comparison with drawing, site condition & measurement, BOQ, contract, Quality standards, RFI, and daily progress report.

• Maintain a database of all BOQs, Clients/ Contractors/ Sub-contractors bills, tax invoices, payment receipts and related documentation.

• Preparing the actual rate analysis for major items every month. Shall be responsible for compiling all data, forms, invoices, receipts, work registers and any other supporting documents for Clients/ Contractors/ Sub-contractors billing.

• Prepare Interim payment application (IPA), interim payment certificate (IPC), request for inspection (RFI), Construction shop drawing, bar bending schedule (BBS), As built drawing etc.

• Prepare compression statement for all submitted quotation by sub-contractor and preparation Engineer`s Assessment (EA).

• Prepare contract agreement between company and employer/sub-contractor including all necessary annexure.

• Regularly follow up with the project team regarding budget and give a periodic update to the central Project Control lead and team.

• Monitor construction works to assure that plans, specifications, codes and regulations are being observed and followed. Compare the actual work done time to time against planned and take necessary action to maintain the work schedule of project(s)

• Visit construction projects on regular basis and Identify problem area and provide appropriate solution to engineer and subcontractor. Undertake site visits to conduct technical audits of randomly selected bills; Highlight issues to the Project Manager/ Management and undertake timely corrective action.

• Check all the balance quantities in terms of MTO (materials takeoff) with an updated rate. Identifies all material requirements, sources, etc.

• Checking of Reconciliation for all Major materials like steel, cement, Stone, Concrete etc. with approved mix designs.

• Reviews and checking interim payment certificate (IPC) submitted by sub-contractor of construction project. Study all types of design, drawing, specification and methodology of construction project successfully

• Prepare standard format for Quantity Takeoff, Cost analysis and BOQ Preparation by following all schedule of rate (PWD, RHD, LGED, BWDB, MES etc.) to complete the construction project smoothly and successfully

• Attend construction-related meetings to support project-related functions and effectively communicate with the project team to resolve conflicts in interpretation.

• Responsible to perform any others job as assigned by the Management from time to time

• Project-based contractual job.
