Job Context:
∎ The position is responsible for definition, implementation, and maintenance of Quality Engineering at ULKASEMI. Responsibilities include completing tasks to achieve quality targets for existing products and services as well as assisting in the achievement of targets for new products in development. In this role you will be working closely with all corporate departments including engineering, purchase, finance, accounting and make sure that the quality procedures are developed, updated and goals are achieved.
∎ Reports to- Director, Human Resources.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for developing, maintaining, and enforcing company quality policies, procedures, processes, and forms to ensure compliance to product requirements and international regulatory requirements and guidelines
∎ Initiate/Lead to solve problems related to processes, products, and systems.
∎ Monitor engineering processes and products for adherence to company and regulatory standards and practices, lead quality improvement initiatives and projects.
∎ Coordinate and lead internal and external audits including ISO certification 9001:2015, follow-ups, issue tracking and closure
∎ Analyzing statistical data and product specifications to determine standards and establish quality objectives, and writing reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.
∎ Recommend modifications to existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality.
∎ Manage non-conformance processes and drive corrective action and/or improvement activities.
∎ Management change management, document control and data management processes
∎ Administer and/or assist in administering and maintaining the training and document control systems (both paper and electronic systems).
∎ Monitoring and driving key performance quality metrics and reporting to company management
Additional Requirements:
∎ 2-3 years' experience in Quality control role or Quality Management Department, preferably in an engineering environment
∎ Familiarity or previous work experience with ISO 9001/2015 is a plus
∎ Experience in document development in English and document control
∎ Auditing experience is a plus
∎ Excellent attention to detail
∎ Worked in fast paced environment with changing priorities
∎ Skills:
∎ Strong proficiency in English writing. Ability to develop corporate policies, procedures in English
∎ Analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
∎ Data mining skills i.e., Collecting and analyzing data
∎ Excellent planning and time management skills in a deadline-driven environment.
∎ Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
∎ Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
∎ Computer skills - knowledge of Microsoft office (words, Excel, Power point), Google, and social media tools is a plus
∎ Peoples' person, highly motivated, and strong team player
