Job Context:
∎ A Quality Control Officer is responsible for monitoring the quality aspects of incoming raw materials to the factory and the products that are ready to be delivered.
∎ Job Location: Factory, Mohammadpur, Dhaka.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Inspecting each raw material and packaging material as per policy while receiving from suppliers.
∎ Reject all the incoming materials fail to meet quality expectations and report the issue to the concerned department at the earliest.
∎ Developing, reviewing, and documenting of all Quality documents like Quality Manual, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs) of products.
∎ Maintaining and updating quality control trending data base.
∎ Analyzing raw materials, packaging materials and finished product on daily basis.
∎ Visiting production and packaging unit regularly to ensure the standards are maintained.
∎ Ensure testing of specimen sample for vendor selection & commercial purchase and any return goods.
∎ Ensuring analysis of complain sample with corresponding retention sample.
∎ To monitor, maintain and implement full set of specifications & procedures which includes RM/PM/Formulations/FG's with specification and test procedure.
∎ R&D and Analysis of complaints /rejection/corrective actions data to look for trends and to work with Teams to find continuous improvement plans.
∎ Quality of Finish Good should be monitoring, such as date coding, Filling/ weighting, cap fitting, labeling, sealing/heating, packaging, cartooning etc.
∎ Ensuring total compliance with all departmental, Safety, Quality and environmental requirements.
∎ Conduct inspections and rework/rejection analysis and taken various types of tests to Enhance productivity.
∎ Checking calibration records of instruments.
∎ Ensuring enough chemicals and reagent for performing the necessary chemical analysis.
∎ Monitor products and assess trends results of manufacturing process, machine efficiency, Energy consumption, raw material consumption.
∎ Must have good computer skills.
∎ Reports quality problems to Production Manager and follows up to ensure that corrective action has/will take place.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 24 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Products and Production Management and Quality Control.
∎ The applicants experience in the following business area(s): Hair care and Skin care Cosmetics, Consumer, Cleaning, Housekeeping and Household products will get preference.
∎ Minimum 2/3 years' experience as a Chemist.
∎ Proficiency in MS-Office (Microsoft Word & Microsoft Excel).
∎ Good inter-personal skills & basic arithmetic skills.
∎ Able to work under pressure.
∎ Able to work aligning with company rules & regulations.
