Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect semi-finished garments after each operation on the production line (sewing line) and identify defects (e.g., stitching issues, loose threads, shade variations, measurement discrepancies).
• Perform 100% or random sampling checks on bundles to ensure garments meet quality standards.
• Take measurements (using measuring tape), compare against spec sheets, and apply alteration stickers as needed.

• Verify proper attachment of trims (buttons, labels, zippers, threads, etc.) and accessories (collars, cuffs, pockets, printing/embroidery).
• Check garments after machine maintenance to ensure no issues like needle holes or other problems.
• Instruct operators/supervisors to alter defective garments and re-inspect after corrections.
• Prepare inline reports (at least 3 reports per style), recording defect types and operator performance.

Inline Inspection

• Especially check highlighted defects (as per supervisor instructions) and follow systems like the Traffic Light System if implemented.
• Coordinate with the production team to prevent defects and provide suggestions for quality improvement.
• Stop the production line, if necessary, when quality significantly drops.
