∎ Previous experience in qualitative research techniques (IDI, KII, FGD, note taking, transcription, translation and coding) involving woman reproductive health issue is preferred.
∎ Experience with software for coding and analysing qualitative data, such as Atlas.ti or other alternatives.
∎ Fluency in Bangla and English.
∎ Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Conducting IDI, FGD and KII at households of study participants.
∎ Note taking, transcription, translation and coding of qualitative data and compiling comprehensive reports to aid in data analysis.
∎ Participate in the process of development of qualitative data collection questionnaires including translation of data collection tools in Bangla for collecting qualitative and quantitative data from women under reproductive age.
∎ Ensure participatory team management in QI’s team.
∎ Perform any other duties as assigned by the JiVitA project.
∎ File weekly progress reports on project activities.
∎ Creative problem-solving abilities.
∎ Ability to work effectively both independently and in teams.
∎ A deadline-driven mindset, combined with strong attention to detail.
∎ Professional demeanor, and cooperative spirit.
∎ Any other duty as assigned by the Supervisor.
∎ Job Context: JiVitA, a maternal and child health and nutrition research project of Johns Hopkins University in Bangladesh (JHUB), operating in Gaibandha District with its project head quarter (PHQ) in Rangpur City and registered with the Government of Bangladesh NGO Affairs Bureau, is seeking qualified applicants for the following post:
∎ Position Description: The position is for data collection using qualitative methods (IDI, KII, FGD) at household in JiVitA field site located in Gaibandha, Rangpur.
∎ Major Areas of Responsibility:
∎ Conducting IDI, FGD and KII at households of study participants.
