To facilitate this, HEMA has its own buying offices in China, Hong Kong and Dhaka, Bangladesh with its Support Office located in Amsterdam.
∎ For our Dhaka office we are searching for high qualified candidates for the position of:
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare efficient weekly QC inspection planning based on merchandiser input;
∎ Maximum cooperation with merchandise colleagues and closely following production planning to ensure on-time delivery;
∎ Analyzing and reporting inspection results with a set frequency;
∎ Review daily issues occurring at the factories and work with the QA team to find quick solutions and give required guidance.
∎ Developing, maintaining and evaluating the quality processes, SOP and manuals;
∎ Developing and implementing training programs for (new) suppliers and it's quality teams.
∎ Analyze the factory's production process flow, and its challenges, and propose possible solutions.
∎ Ensure no authorized sub-contracting.
∎ Carrying out Risk Assessments, PP meetings, inline and final inspections along with the QC team.
∎ Strong technical knowledge in quality system.
∎ Ensure HEMA quality standards for each shipment.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 3-5 year experience in an international buying office, most preferable for a European retailer;
∎ Product knowledge for knit, woven, denim, non-denim, sweater etc.
∎ Self-motivated, a team player, open-minded with strong analytical skills;
∎ Pro-active and well organized;
∎ Problem solving capacity;
∎ Excellent command of spoken and written English and Bangla;
∎ Excellent at report making in Microsoft Excel.
∎ Strong administrative and computer skills;
∎ Able to work under pressure.
