• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in coating inspection for steel tanks and vessels.
• Certification such as NACE Coating Inspector Level II / Level III or equivalent preferred.
• Strong knowledge of coating systems, blasting standards, and protective coatings for steel structures.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a project team.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented QC Coating Inspector with proven experience in steel tanks and vessels. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring coating applications meet quality standards, project specifications, and industry codes. This role requires strong technical knowledge, hands-on inspection experience, and the ability to prepare accurate inspection reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform inspection and quality control of coating activities on steel tanks, vessels, and related structures.
• Verify surface preparation and coating application in accordance with project specifications, standards, and client requirements.
• Conduct Dry Film Thickness (DFT) measurements, holiday testing, adhesion tests, and other necessary inspections.
• Ensure compliance with international standards (e.g., ISO, NACE, SSPC).
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure corrective actions are taken when required.
• Maintain detailed inspection reports and documentation for quality records.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and clients to resolve coating-related issues.
