Job Responsibilities:
∎ Oxfam is looking for a Public Health Promotion Officer to render Public Health Promotion (PHP) activities at Kutupalong camp area in an effective and efficient manner.
∎ To be responsible for the community mobilizing, coordinating, and supporting the interventions of public health situation according to the donor strategy and meet the project objectives in working areas.
∎ Moreover, ensuring program quality and accountability in respect of Core Humanitarian Standards as well as act to protect community people from threats to their life, health and dignity.
∎ To work closely with other departments to PHE/EFSVL/Protection to ensure an integrated and coherent response.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 3 years' practical experience in appropriate hygiene promotion programmes or/and working with communities;
∎ strong oral and written communication skills in both English/Bengali and Chattertonian language (local Language);
∎ good analytical and decisions making skills with limited support; computer skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint);
∎ ability to work independently as well work as a team player - supporting other departments is essential;
∎ capacity to analyze information and ability to apply professional and ethical standards to data collection and analysis processes, and research.
Salary:
∎ BDT. 727,205 per annum (13 months)
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Plus 10% market supplement with other benefits e.g. hardship allowance, medical for spouse and children, contributory Provident fund, gratuity, leave & Insurance etc.
