Experience:
Master in Psychology from any reputed institution or undergraduate with a higher diploma in a relevant field.
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO/Development Sector.
Additional Requirements
Mentally adaptable to work in FDMN camp and host in Cox`s Bazar District.
Good command of English, especially in analytical writing and speaking.
Ability to demonstrate values, core purpose, and principles of humanitarian work.
Ability to receive and provide feedback and updates to achieve improved results.
Ability to work under pressure with Self-awareness, cultural sensitivity, respect for diversity, flexibility, and adaptability.
Ability to make time to learn from experience and feedback, and apply the lessons to a new situation.
Ability to document lessons learned and apply them to future projects.
Experience in writing reports, concept notes, meeting minutes, data spreadsheets, and presentations.
Good communication skills and command in MS word, Excel and power point.
Ability to cope with stress working in a remote place.
Good command of Chitagonian and Bangla. English language skills are an asset.
Flexibility to perform other tasks and take initiative when required.
Responsibilities & Context

Reporting to: Program Manager.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION:
Implement mental health & psychosocial activities in MPWC’s.
Assess the beneficiary’s psychological condition by using psychological tools to detect vulnerable cases.
Perform individual sessions for detected mental health cases and refer the severe cases according to the referral pathway.
When needed, provide psychological consultations and conduct group discussion activities through home visits for the most vulnerable cases.
Sensitize the volunteers and paramedic staff of RWWS to psychological and psychosocial issues.
Produce timely activity reports, including both quantitative and qualitative information on psychological activities.
Regularly update the referral pathways for responding to GBV, Child Protection and MHPSS support in host/camp communities / area of operations.
Provide individual and group psychosocial support and counselling for women and girls who require support.
Provide psychological support to patients who are coming to MPWC and facing mental Health problems.
Organize and conduct workshops/sessions/trainings on psychosocial support and wellbeing for host communities, staff, and volunteers.
Conduct individual assessments on the psychosocial support needs host communities’ women and adolescent girls who request for services, identify and plan for the support that maybe provided according to the MHPSS pyramid.
Assist to MPWC participants to develop beneficial psychological and well-being practices to overcome Gender Base Violence (GBV) or other experiences of violence.
Ensure PSS and counselling participants safety, confidentiality, self-determination is respected, and that all consultations are conducted in a dignified and respectful manner.
Design interventions to sensitize community members regarding psychosocial support, wellbeing and empowering them to develop own strategies to overcome consequences violence
Assist to advocacy & networking for psychological wellbeing.
Reporting and attending different meetings:
Prepare weekly activities report to submit to the line manager.
Participate in a proactive way in different meetings.
Location: Ukhia/Teknaf at Cox’s Bazar district (Vehicle support will be provided from Cox’s Bazar office)
