∎ Supervise the team of psychosocial workers and the implementation of the psychosocial intervention of the HEARD project. The successful candidate will be a part of HEARD research project on the topic called “Scientific Evaluation of the Psychosocial Impacts of Baby Friendly Spaces in Low-Resource Humanitarian Settings”.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To monitor and supervise the implementation of the psychosocial intervention
∎ Collaborate with the psychosocial field team
∎ Lead the direct supervision of the HEARD project psychosocial team, conducting one-to-one meetings on a regular basis
∎ Supervise the implementation of activities for the pilot study and implement the supervision process in partnership with scientific partners from Johns Hopkins University and University of Virgina (USA) and operational teams
∎ Report on the psychosocial worker’s level of knowledge and ability to implement the program with the beneficiaries on the field as per protocol
∎ Collaborate on capacity development activities of team members by providing a full report on the implementation process
∎ Update monitoring data using checklist on KOBO
∎ Attend training in supervision of psychosocial interventions
∎ Ensure constant and efficient monitoring of the psychosocial interventions
∎ Organize a schedule for weekly supervision of psychosocial team
∎ Provide weekly report on the supervision to the psychosocial team during the entire process of implementation of the psychosocial activities.
∎ Monitor the compliance with the established timetable of psychosocial activities and update regularly
∎ Inform the Research Project Manager in case of difficulty with the psychosocial intervention protocol.
∎ Coordinate with the logistics for support needed during the field visits
∎ Coordinate with MHPSS team for any technical support required during the implementation
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Fluency in Bengali & English language
∎ Clinical experience
∎ Good communication and adaptation capacity
∎ Project management and training capacities
∎ Experience in team supervision
∎ Humanitarian experience an asset
Salary: Tk. 55000 (Monthly)
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Festival Bonus: 1-month basic salary twice per year.
∎ Provident Fund: 7.5% of Basic Salary.
∎ Performance Bonus: Depending on performance.
