Job Context:

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide immediate and relevant assistance to beneficiaries: accurate information and details about WFP services in the relevant location. This may include conducting referrals to external agencies, which are logged on the referral system.
∎ Conduct regular field monitoring visits at WFP establishments (GFD points, E-Voucher shops, Nutrition centers etc.) using as much as possible an age, gender and diversity approach, in order to fully understand protection concerns and priorities. Assess the resources available to the targeted community to increase their own safety and protection.
∎ Enhance and facilitate discussion on main protection issues that are of concern in WFP operations and protection issues related to food insecurity. This will be done through FGDs, KII and community forums.
∎ Conduct informative sessions, record feedback (comments, suggestions) and report results back to Protection Officer on issues of concern with recommended areas of interventions.
∎ Maintain clear follow up tracking procedures for each case following WFP CSFM Standard Operating Procedures (SoPs), under the supervision of the Protection associate.
∎ Share information with beneficiaries and community members about services or assistance based on the beneficiary's request for information;
∎ Work closely with the protection associate to ensure all segments of the community including the most vulnerable have access to the mechanism and that their voices are heard and complaints addressed.
∎ Maintain constructive relationships with upazillas, other local government institutions, local NGO partners and other international organizations in coordination with the other team members
∎ Provide support in capacity building and training activities targeting staff, implementing partners, volunteers etc.
∎ Perform any other duty as required.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 2 years similar experience
∎ Diverse Protection and field experience desirable
∎ Demonstrated interpersonal skills and respect for people with special needs and other vulnerability.
∎ Ability to work in a multicultural context as a flexible and respectful team player.
∎ Experience of work in the UN or NGO or voluntary sector is preferred but not essential.
∎ Language: Good spoken and written English/Rohingya and relevant computer skills
Salary: Tk. 86452 (Monthly)
