Job Context:
∎ YPSA (Young Power in Social Action) www.ypsa.org is an organization for sustainable development working in greater Chattogram division since 1985 with a vision to build a society without poverty where everyone`s basic needs and rights are ensured. YPSA is implementing UNICEF Bangladesh supported a project title "Child Centered Care Response to Rohingya Adolescents (Boys and Girls) in Cox`s Bazar Project".
∎ YPSA invites application from the experienced professionals with proven track record for the following position.
∎ Job location: Ukhiya upazilla under Coxs bazar

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Project Officer (PO) Directly responsible to the Deputy Project Manager
∎ Developed a program implementation work plan daily/weekly/monthly for his/her team members.
∎ Supervising and controlling team members (Field Supervisor) in an effective and efficient way for better project result.
∎ Pay regular field visit, observe activities and take corrective measure.
∎ Ensure participation in different coordination and protection meetings in the camp level and excellent rapport building with relevant stakeholders.
∎ He/She must be apply different method for mentoring and strongly network/linkage develop & rapport building at GO/NGO level.
∎ Project Officer (PO) must submit his/her report/information to the line manager with in timeframe.
∎ Work in a team to produce programs that are satisfactory to all relevant parties in an organization, such as line managers, accountants and senior managers at board level.
∎ He/ she must build/ develop smooth relationship with all of his potential stakeholders
∎ He/She must ensure the better intervention of all the tasks of this project such as (survey, different kinds of sessions, training and awareness program etc.)
∎ Must have ability to facilitate training for beneficiaries and staffs and hired resource person.
∎ Any other task assigned by the Management

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 3 years job experience as a Project officer or similar functions at any NGO
∎ Ability to communicate in local dialect (Chittagonian Dialect).
∎ Sound knowledge of project activities and management
∎ Excellent planning, analytical, organizational and decision making skills
∎ Good working relationships with colleagues, partners, external actors and allies
∎ Excellent communication skills including a high level of written and spoken English
∎ Conversant in common IT applications (MS word, MS power point, internet browsing & e-mail communications)
∎ Ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure and meet deadlines

Salary:
∎ Monthly consolidated salary BDT 45,000 with other benefits as per project budget
