Job Location: Durgapur, Rajshahi (Contractual position for 6 Months)
Major Responsibilities
Plans, organizes and ensures timely and high-quality implementation of activities in alignment with the project activity plan.
Delivers awareness sessions on Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and sexual harassment tailored to diverse target groups.
Supports the organisation and facilitation of baseline, end-line, and assessment surveys related to GBV protection.
Collects and updates service mapping data periodically to support survivors of violence with accurate referral services.
Facilitates the establishment and operationalization of Sexual Harassment Redress Committees (SHRCs) within educational institutions.
Conducts follow-up meetings with students, teachers, parents, and school governing bodies to promote prevention of sexual harassment and cyber violence.
Ensures prompt reporting of GBV incidents and coordinates with relevant stakeholders to facilitate survivor-centered case management.
Liaises and collaborates with upazila-level stakeholders including government officials, community leaders, school management committees, teachers, NGOs/CSOs, and Ready-Made Garment (RMG) management.
Conducts orientation and awareness-building sessions with school management to strengthen institutional response to GBV and sexual harassment.
Prepares monthly MIS reports and maintains comprehensive documentation at the project office to support monitoring and evaluation.
Communicates regularly with the Technical Manager to ensure seamless coordination and implementation of project activities.
Monitors and follows up on project activities to ensure the quality and effectiveness of interventions.
Safeguarding Responsibilities:
Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organization and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
