∎ Strengthening Resilience through Gender-Responsive and Integrated Services (RISe) project of BRAC aims to enhance the resilience of low-income urban communities against the impacts of climate change. It prioritizes the development of climate-resilient, gender-responsive services and community infrastructure to improve the living conditions of vulnerable populations. The project focuses on empowering ultra-poor households, especially women, by strengthening their socio-economic resilience to adapt to climate challenges. Additionally, RISe addresses climate-induced health risks by promoting equitable access to knowledge, raising awareness, and providing improved healthcare services at the community level.
∎ Work in the project component of the field operation unit; implement all the project interventions with the help of community at the field level as front-line staff; maintain strong communication and networking with the city corporation and local stakeholders for effective engagement in social accountability initiatives.
∎ • Community mobilization, formulation/reactivation/facilitation of community groups; closely follow up community organizers to ensure participatory and collective actions.
∎ • Maintain strong communication and networking with local government officials, elected representatives, local NGOs and other BRAC Programmes for implementing project initiatives.
∎ • Project beneficiary selection according to the criteria and project guideline.
∎ • Follow up field level implementation of the project and ensure high quality project outputs and impact as per allocation and targeted coverage.
∎ • Meet the goals and objectives within the limited timeframe and support different reporting, monitoring and MIS activities.
∎ • Assist in organizing training, workshops and different events at the field level according to annual targets.
∎ • Provide support to the project team, research, knowledge management and MEAL activities in the field.
∎ • Perform awareness raising and capacity building activities by organizing community meetings at community level.
∎ • Support field level procurement and distribution of asset/resources to project beneficiaries as per project guideline.
∎ • Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
