∎ Project Context: Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK): Lead Organization (ASK) is one of the leading human rights and legal aid organizations in Bangladesh. Since its inception ASK has been working for the protection and promotion of human rights (HR) of vulnerable communities, gender and social justice through community activism, social mobilization, capacity building, legal services, advocacy and policy intervention. ASK takes a comprehensive and holistic approach to the promotion and protection of human rights in particular of women, children and other groups, through mediation, litigation, shelter and psycho-social counseling, monitoring and investigating human rights violations, media campaigns and public interest litigation for law and policy reform.
∎ Purpose of the position: The position is responsible for reporting, monitoring and evaluation of MAITREE project. He & She will be responsible and accountable for developing field monitoring system, share and discuss to ensure effective and continuous improvement of the project. as per Organization & Donor/ project requirement and guideline. S/he is responsible for assisting Project manager for prepared field monitoring report with all program report (monthly. Quarterly & Annual report), case story, event report as required. Contribute deign project technical proposal, PMF and related all documents.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure the development of relevant monitoring tools and reporting formats and ensure timely and accurate reporting as per guideline
∎ M&E plans, data collection tools, Site Visit Notes, needs assessments, and evaluations. consultation with Project manager.
∎ Contribute to conducting regular monitoring activities in the field per work plans, regular sharing of M&E findings in coordination with project focal person.
∎ Prepare/update/review logical framework for project in coordination with UNWOMEN & ASK M&E sector & PM.
∎ Ensure to contribute planning, design, implementation, analysis, reporting of performance and activity verification studies.
∎ Strengthen reporting system and preservation of data/ report for periodic monitoring of program areas.
∎ Prepare all program monthly/Quarterly/ Annual narrative and numerical report in time.
∎ Support in developing and promoting best practice examples and document experiences and lessons learnt.
∎ Assist in providing technical and backstopping support to project teams.
∎ Coordinate the implementation of project activities with transparency and accountability through regular monitoring & supervision; analyses the target vs. achievement scenario and resource mobilization
∎ Ensure required support organization & Donor M&E team.
∎ Conduct interview (IDI, FGD or KII) with different stakeholders and beneficiaries considering project requirement.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of Organization Gender policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Minimum 2 years of work experience in M&E in Humanitarian field of NGO/ INGO.
∎ Experience with Data Quality Assessments and leading efforts improve data collection and use.
∎ Sound knowledge on monitoring and evaluation in development/humanitarian sectors
∎ Have good command over English both in written & verbal.
∎ In-depth computer skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and SPSS
∎ Skill on implementation M&E tools in Kobo/ ODK etc.
∎ Strong willingness to visit field frequently and able to work under pressure
∎ Excellent skills in report writing and presentation
∎ Strong team building skills with gender friendly attitude
∎ Excellent analytical ability and able to perform assigned tasks independently
Salary: Tk. 45000 (Monthly)
