Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor/Masters degree in Education / Development Studies / Social Science and any other relevant subject
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide technical guidance and ensure technical support to TOs and POs of education sector
∎ Observe classroom teaching of assigned camps to identify key gaps in teaching, material development and provide necessary supports.
∎ Ensure technical support to TOs, POs and FFs of education sector for their capacity building
∎ Ensure teaching learning materials in learning centres and use effectively
∎ Ensure capacity building to teachers for teaching learning materials use in the learning centres
∎ Develop offline and online based reporting tools and mechanism system for ensure quality education in the fields
∎ Develop a master trainer’s pool and ensure quality training facilitation.
∎ Develop and Design training content training schedule, outline and module as per project needs
∎ Arrange, conduct and facilitate training, workshops, refreshers, Staff capacity development forum, meeting to ensure the program quality
∎ Support to the technical team for organize and conduct different types of training such as: Basic, Refreshers, Subject base, Safeguarding, Inclusive education, Gender and PSEA, Materials development workshop etc.
∎ Observe classroom teaching to identify key gaps and provide necessary guidelines and on job support to the teachers, technical officer and DPMs
∎ Develop, review and update quality monitoring tools as per project need
∎ Improve training observation checklist as per donor requirements
∎ Develop, review and contextualize teaching learning materials and develop materials aligned with the government’s guidelines
∎ Prepare monthly training plan and quarterly training calendar
∎ Attend different type of training, meeting and workshop as per assigned by the supervisor
∎ Develop yearly refresher calendar, monthly refresher schedule, bi-weekly teacher learning cycle schedule and need based training schedule.
∎ Develop quality observation tools e.g. ECD, Pre-primary, Primary, Secondary, Adolescents etc. based on activities to ensure quality education services.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programmes goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Experienced in education management which includes educational project development, quality, curriculum, materials, capacity development and other technical areas of education.
∎ Advance knowledge on National curriculum and terminal competencies, and overall programme management.
∎ Prepare and review different report, proposal, concept note etc. as per programme need.
