∎ Job Summary: The Project Officer-Protection will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and evaluating Protection initiatives for the "Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration (BPRM) project for Food Security & Livelihood and Child protection sectors" under YPSA (Young Power in Social Action) at at Ukiya & Teknaf Upazila (Host & Camp) in Cox`s Bazar. This position involves working closely with project stakeholders, youth participants, and community partners to enhance their skills, knowledge, and capabilities.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Capacity Building Strategy:
∎ Develop a comprehensive Protection strategy aligned with the goals of the "Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration (BPRM) project for Food Security & Livelihood and Child protection sectors".
∎ Identify training needs and gaps within the project team and target communities.
∎ Training Program Development:
∎ Design and develop training programs and materials tailored to the needs of project participants.
∎ Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure the relevance and effectiveness of training content.
∎ Training Delivery:
∎ Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and Protection activities for project participants.
∎ Ensure the active participation and engagement of target groups in training programs.
∎ Monitoring and Evaluation:
∎ Implement mechanisms to assess the impact of Protection initiatives.
∎ Collect and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of training programs.
∎ Prepare regular reports on the progress of Protection activities.
∎ Collaboration and Partnerships:
∎ Collaborate with external partners, trainers, and experts to enhance the scope and quality of Protection initiatives.
∎ Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders involved in Protection efforts.
∎ Documentation and Reporting:
∎ Maintain accurate records of training sessions, participant feedback, and other relevant data.
∎ Prepare comprehensive reports on the outcomes and impact of Protection activities.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 03 years experience in project management, specifically in Protection initiatives.
∎ Written and spoken fluency in Bangla, English is essential.
∎ Advanced Excel and Microsoft Word abilities. Computer Knowledge is a must (MS Word, Excel - typing Bangla and English).
∎ Ability to prepare and lead report compilation.
∎ Ability to communicate in the local dialect (Chittagonian Dialect).
∎ Ability to write clear and concise reports case stories in English and Bangla.
∎ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
∎ Strong facilitation and training skills.
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ Understanding of issues related to youth empowerment and development.
∎ Familiarity with relevant monitoring and evaluation tools and methodologies.
∎ Proficiency in data analysis software and Microsoft Office applications.
∎ Ability on report writing.

∎ Tk. 55166 (Monthly)
∎ Consolidated Salary Including Fringe Benefit per month BDT 55,166
