Job Context:
∎ The Project Officer will support to Oxfam`s Just Energy Transition (JET) movement in Bangladesh with a wider vision to upscale the global clean energy campaign. Besides, the Project Officer will involve in arranging different level of multi-stakeholder dialogue to contribute to policy advocacy and represent Oxfam`s position to achieve Bangladesh government`s climate mitigation targets declared in the revised NDC 2021. The position will support Programme Officer to build a national level clean energy network and lobbying with relevant stakeholders including the government, civil society actors, private sector actors (more specifically with RMG industries and international brands), climate funding entities, energy experts and academicians for progressing the clean energy transition process at the country level.
∎ Location: Dhaka (with field visits as per requirement).
∎ Job type: Fixed Term.
Salary:
∎ As per Oxfam National D2 pay band with other benefits e.g. medical for spouse and children, contributory provident fund, gratuity, leave & insurance.
