Job Context:
∎ Concern Worldwide, Bangladesh has been implementing Emergency Rohingya Response Projects with funding from different donors, most of which are short-term projects.
∎ Type of Contract: Fixed term contract up to 31st August 2021 (renewable)
∎ Job Purpose: Technical leadership of implementation of the nutrition component of the PRM funded project to ensure quality service delivery, monitoring and evaluation, reporting and coordination with relevant authorities and stakeholders in the field.
∎ Livelihoods Officer and other Concern`s projects operating in the same areas, for mutual support and activity integration, towards collective multi-sectoral impact on nutrition outcomes of the target households.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct training of project team on Nutrition and Mother Care Group approach, and activities for husbands and mothers in law of pregnant and lactating women
∎ Conduct project beneficiaries selection process ensuring impartiality, and the coverage to expected project areas.
∎ Form Mother Care Groups and other project beneficiary groups according to project design, ensuring 100% coverage of the project area.
∎ Support the development and adaption of context specific IEC materials for training and capacity building of project staff and beneficiaries
∎ Lead the development of a pictorial book of innovative nutritious meals recipes for maternal, infant and young child nutrition, adopting the participatory cooking sessions technique
∎ Support the development of a pictorial book of innovative nutritious meals recipes for older people, adopting the participatory cooking sessions technique at household level
∎ Build capacity of field staff to deliver quality cascading sessions, as per the Mother Care Group approach, on maternal, infant and young child nutrition
∎ Provide technical support on Mother Care Groups approach and participatory cooking session techniques to local partner organization in this porject, in liaison with the Assistant Project Coordinator
∎ Distribute project materials to target beneficiaries, and promote the utilisation as per project design, to achieve project objectives
∎ Conduct on the job coaching to the field team to maintain high quality and accountability to beneficiaries.
∎ Coordination:
∎ Coordinate community sensitization meetings with leaders and influential persons to ensure buy in and beneficiaries trust and willingness to participate in the project
∎ Liaise with other Concern project field teams to ensure integration of all projects within Concern Worldwide, for smooth operation and mutual support.
∎ Human Resource Management:
∎ Monitor staff performance and ensure timely performance development reviews.
∎ Ensure staff welfare, safety and security in liaison with HR and Assistant Project Coordinator.
∎ Ensure an enabling, friendly, collaborative and professional working culture within the project team, and adherence to Concern policies and procedures.
∎ Monitoring and Evaluation:
∎ Support MEAL team to enter project beneficiaries data into the project database.
∎ Participate in regular team meetings to share activity progress and learning.
∎ Work with MEAL and Assistant Project Coordinator to identify and address implementation bottlenecks.
∎ Support MEAL team in data collection for surveys and evaluations.
∎ Ensure that the feedback mechanism for accountability to staff and beneficiaries is operational in the project areas.
∎ Reporting:
∎ Share weekly field activities updates with the Assistant Project Coordinator.
∎ Work with MEAL to build capacity of the field team to use the activities' M&E tools.
∎ Additional Roles:
∎ Promote and ensure compliance with the requirements of Concern's Code of Conduct and its associated safeguarding policies and Core Humanitarian Standards of Accountability (CHS) to ensure maximum protection to programme beneficiaries, and to welcome feedback.
∎ Perform other duties assigned by Assistant Project Coordinator or Project Manager.
∎ Accountability:
∎ In line with Concern's commitments under the Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS):
∎ Actively promote meaningful community participation and consultation at all stages of the project cycle (planning, implementation, M&E);
∎ Work with relevant colleagues to ensure that the Complaints and Response Mechanism (CRM) is functional and accessible, that feedback and complaints are welcomed and addressed;
∎ Work with relevant colleagues to ensure that information about CRM, safeguarding and expected staff behaviour is disseminated among programme participants and communities.

Additional Requirements:
∎ 2 years progressively work experience in Nutrition field
∎ Good computer and report writing skills are required
∎ Strong written and verbal communication skills in English is required
∎ Experience in community nutrition, IYCF and/or mother care groups is required
∎ Experience working with older people over 60 years would be an advantage
∎ Good knowledge on Rohingya refugee context is desirable

Salary:
∎ Monthly Hardship Allowance of BDT 10,000/-, PF (contributory), Bonus (02), Gratuity, Group life and Hospitalisation Insurance coverages, OPD coverage, Mobile ceiling as per organisational policy
