Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist the Sector Lead, Shelter for Monitoring and Reporting of the Shelter activities along with Food & Non-Food items especially develop/ review of yearly activity plan, yearly budget, Project organogram etc.
∎ Identify the community needs-gaps, obstacles, opportunities and most appropriate project interventions through field observation, FGD, KII, community consultation and close collaboration with camps' people, Mahji and other stakeholders as well as provide supportive supervision for implementing the interventions smoothly.
∎ Conduct and ensure monitoring visits on selection & needs assessment process, materials distribution & follow-up, shelters/site improvement construction/ others interventions, DRR interventions, labors bills payment process, warehouses/ stores including NFI distribution (if required) etc. for ensuring the implementation of appropriate process and its efficiency & effectiveness, works quality, identify needs-gaps, irregularities & challenges, minimize risks and assist the beneficiaries.
∎ Develop FGD and KII questionnaires, community consultation on project intervention for Field Assistants and Rahingya community and conduct an orientation and field test which will enhance the knowledge and skills of the targeted peoples as well as train-up M&E staffs on how to conduct a monitoring visit/ program & documents check/ report writing by on-the-job training to ensure program quality.
∎ Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports and submit to line manager in time. Assist the Sector Lead, Shelter to prepare the half-yearly, yearly and project closing reports as well.
∎ Maintain close relationship and contact with relevant managements and sectors specially MIS and M&E of Cox’s Bazar team, BRAC Central Monitoring Team, Procurement, and Site Management, GoB officials, community and stakeholders outside of organization and try to assist them as required.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programmer’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

∎ Have Good knowledge and skills on computer on MS word, Excel, Power point.
∎ Have excellent Interpersonal, Leadership and Staff Management skills.
∎ Have communication skill in both verbal and written English and Bangla.
∎ Have ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse organization and willingness to live and work in difficult and rapidly changing conditions.
∎ Have willingness to travel and stay in the field.
