Education:
    • Bachelor/Honors
  • Major in MIS, Statistics, Data Science, or relevant discipline would be an added advantage.

  • At least 2 years of experience in MIS, data management, or digital data systems, preferably in humanitarian or development contexts.

  • Knowledge of MIS systems, digital data collection, database management, and monitoring systems.

  • Skilled in data management, reporting, troubleshooting, and communication.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination abilities with attention to detail.

  • Proficient in computer applications and adaptable to field-based work.



Responsibilities & Context:

The Project Officer – MIS is responsible for supporting the implementation and management of digital data systems to ensure timely, accurate, and reliable data collection, storage, and reporting under the BRAC–LEGO strategic partnership. The role contributes to strengthening data systems for effective monitoring, decision-making, and programme accountability.

  • Support the development, deployment, and maintenance of MIS platforms (e.g., KoBo, ODK, CommCare, or similar tools) for programme data collection.

  • Design and update digital data collection tools and forms aligned with programme indicators and reporting requirements.

  • Ensure timely data entry, synchronization, and validation across all programme sites.

  • Monitor data quality and perform regular data cleaning, verification, and consistency checks.

  • Support integration of MIS systems with MERL frameworks and reporting systems.

  • Generate regular datasets, summaries, dashboards, and reports for programme teams and management.

  • Provide technical support to field teams on data collection tools, devices, and troubleshooting.

  • Conduct regular field visits to ensure proper use of MIS tools and adherence to data protocols.

  • Maintain database systems and ensure secure storage, backup, and confidentiality of data.

  • Assist in developing automated reporting systems and data visualization tools.

  • Support baseline, midline, and endline data management processes.

  • Coordinate with MERL and programme teams to ensure alignment between field data and reporting requirements

  • Document system updates, user guides, and MIS processes.

  • Support training and orientation of staff on MIS tools and digital data collection systems.

  • Ensure safeguarding, data protection, and ethical data management practices are followed.

  • Practice, promote, and adhere to safeguarding policies and reporting procedures
