Job Context:
∎ Nari Maitree is looking for skilled and ambitious professionals for our Humanitarian Response team in Ukhia, Cox`s Bazar.
∎ Project Officers (Host & Rohingya response) under the direct supervision of the Project Coordinator of "Comprehensive, Integrated Multi-Sector Response for Rohingya FDMNs and Host Communities in Cox`s Bazar" Project of Nari Maitree.
∎ Full-time; 6-month contract, renewable based upon satisfactory performance and availability of funds.
∎ This is a 06-month project starting from September 1, 2023 with a possibility of extension for a long time.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Under the supervision of Project Coordinator, implement the project activities in line with the project's objectives, timeline, compliance and budget.
∎ Preparing details implementation plans for completing assigned tasks on time.
∎ Foster strong relationships with FDMN communities, host communities, and local authorities through regular communication, consultations, and participatory approaches to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to assistance.
∎ Conduct survey to identify adolescent girls, boys, women and men for training on GBV prevention interventions.
∎ Prepare and conduct sessions with community members following the Girl Shine Early Marriage curriculum, EMAP, SASA! Together and Community Outreach.
∎ Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly progress reports, including narrative updates and quantitative data, to share with donors, partners, and relevant authorities.
∎ Identify capacity gaps within the volunteers' team and provide targeted training and support to build the skills and knowledge of volunteers.
∎ Other tasks as assigned by the line manager/Project Coordinator.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 27 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Direct working experience with Host Community/ FDMN based Child Protection project implementation.
∎ Fluency in Chittagonian dialect, written and spoken in English.
∎ Facilitation capacity of community based organizations, micro level training & community communication.
∎ Excellent report writing skills in both Bangla & English.
∎ Sound knowledge & practices of safeguarding, PSEA Issues and organizational policies.
Salary: Tk. 40000 (Monthly)
