Educational Requirements:

Job Context:
∎ · DASCOH intends to contribute to an improved health status, with special focus on maternal, neonatal and child health, primarily in Rajshahi division. To achieve the goal, DG Health, DG Family Planning, CBHC, DASCOH and the SRC commit themselves to support each other in implementing health system strengthening in Community Clinics, Union Health and Family welfare center and Upazila Health complex.
∎ The Project Officer Health (POH) will provide technical assistance and work closely with all staff at all the government health facilities within the program area so that they are capable to provide the quality services sustainably. S/he will play a mentorship and supervisory role so that all mandated services of the community clinics, union and upazila facilities are ensured and the facilities can function optimally.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure the quality of the services in particular MNCH and family planning at Community clinics, Union Health and Family welfare center and Upazila Health Complex.
∎ Ensure on the job training/mentorship, orientation, coaching to the service providers to deliver basic quality health services to patients attending the centers.
∎ Strengthen supervision and monitoring system at facilities by the government health officials.
∎ Assess the facilities from the technical point of view and provide suggestion and play role for improvement (equipment, medicine and logistics).
∎ Contribute for developing the IEC and BCC materials to promote quality health services.
∎ Develop and organize technical training for quality improvement of the services.
∎ Reinforce patient/drug management and strengthen referral system at different level.
∎ Identify, document and share lessons learned and good practices of the project.
∎ Coordinate with all project staff for smooth implementation of the project activities.
∎ Attend and facilitate different meetings, workshops/training, and orientation program.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Knowledge on government health and family planning structures at community, union, upazila and district level.
∎ Having experience working in NGO and a valid motorcycle driving license will be given preference.

Salary: Tk. 52880 (Monthly)

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Mobile bill, Tour allowance, Weekly 2 holidays
∎ 2.25 festival bonus, Contributory Provident Fund, Gratuity, Medical Allowance, Travel Allowance, Health Insurance and Leave Benefits will be entitled as per organizational policy.
