Experience:
Bachelor and Master’s degree in Social Science, Anthropology, Management or any discipline from any UGC approve university
Knowledge:
Have knowledge or willingness to learn and challenge oneself and others regarding gender roles, power relationships and gender-based violence
Needs experience and skills in working with community people and influencers in the community
Patient, persuasive and have the confidence and experience needed to be taken seriously by leaders
Needs to have in depth knowledge about the behavior of the by standards Men & Boys in the community
Deep knowledge on Violence against women (VAW) and Male as Ally
Knowledge on basic Gender issues

This role will be responsible for implementing context-sensitive strategies, mainly the community engagement approaches in camp or host community. In addition, provide direct input on program development in all relevant projects, including GBV prevention, risk mitigation, empowerment of women, outreach, capacity building and coordination related activities.
Conduct and arrange GBV awareness sessions, meetings, campaigns, and training for community members, adolescents, caregivers, and other stakeholders
Organize community engagement activities to promote gender equality, safeguarding, protection principles, and GBV prevention
Provide weekly and monthly reports and submit program data through KOBO and other reporting platforms in a timely manner
Maintain proper documentation of workshops, sessions, attendance sheets, training records, and activity registers
Conduct regular field monitoring visits to observe community activities and provide feedback for quality improvement
Arrange and conduct capacity-building and refresher training sessions for community volunteers and stakeholders
Plan and implement activities for international and national day observations aligned with program objectives
Ensure the Community Feedback and Referral Mechanism (CFRM) through regular collection of community feedback and complaint box management.
Ensure necessary permissions from Camp in Charge (CiC), Site Management, and BRAC management for program implementation
Participate regularly in CiC meetings, sector coordination meetings, and other relevant forums to share program updates while maintaining data protection and confidentiality
Maintain stock registers, inventories, and asset management records accurately and timely
Coordinate closely with accounts and logistics teams to ensure transparent billing support for labor payments, volunteer payments, travel bills, cash purchases, and other operational transactions
Support cash disbursement activities through physical verification and monitoring processes
Oversee the establishment, maintenance, and repair of project centers and facilities
Ensure the safety and well-being of staff, volunteers, and participants by promoting safeguarding and protection standards in all activities
Practice, promote, and uphold safeguarding policies and ensure safeguarding standards are implemented in every course of action
Follow safeguarding reporting procedures and encourage timely reporting of any safeguarding concerns or incidents
Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor for smooth program implementation
Safeguarding:
Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so
