Responsibilities & Context:

BRAC is an international development organisation founded in Bangladesh in 1972 that partners globally with over 100 million people living with inequality and poverty to create opportunities to realise their potential.

To implement community-based child protection activities under HCMP by engaging children, adolescents, parents, and community groups. The role ensures effective outreach, activation of community groups (CBCPC, PCGC, Youth Groups), and quality field-level implementation.

  • Implement monthly and weekly outreach work plans

  • Facilitate CBCPC, PCGC, Youth Group, and Adolescent Club meetings

  • Conduct awareness sessions and community campaigns

  • Provide guidance to facilitators and volunteers

  • Identify vulnerable children and support referral mechanisms

  • Conduct regular field visits and monitor activities

  • Assist in training implementation

  • Maintain data collection, online data entry, and reporting

  • Liaise with CiC office and relevant stakeholders

  • Support internal and external monitoring visits

Safeguarding

  • Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme`s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment

  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action

  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so
