Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelors/ Masters in Agriculture/ Agriculture Engineering or any relevant discipline from any recognised university.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Support implementation of project activities at the field level
∎ Facilitate the construction and function of post-harvest storage facilities in climate vulnerable areas
∎ Identify and select project participants following the criteria set in the operation plan
∎ Assist in organising and conducting capacity development training to the project participants
∎ Assist in disseminating agricultural inputs to the selected project participants
∎ Maintain strong communication and networking with local government officials for implementing social accountability initiatives
∎ Follow up field level implementation in the project implementing sites
∎ Undertake other duties from time to time as required by the project
∎ Support the Area Manager as a whole so that the projects activities achieve results against stated objectives and outcomes
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
