Educational Requirements:
∎ Master’s Degree in a relevant discipline preferably in social science.
∎ At least 2 years’ demonstrable experience within a development organization preferably in Case Management, child protection program in humanitarian response.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The PO - CM will be responsible for managing child protection case management program in a specific area within the Rohingya Response. The PO - CM will manage a team of Field Officer- Case Management (FO-CM) to provide holistic and comprehensive case management services to the most vulnerable and at-risk children including: identification, registration, care plan establishment, referrals, direct service provision, progress monitoring and case closure. The PO -CM will also be responsible for implementing family tracing and reunification (FTR) and alternative care package in the location, and as well as acting as an internal and external focal point for child protection in the location in which they are assigned. S/he will be working under the supervision of the Program Officer. S/she will be supervising/ coordinating with the FOs-CM working in team approach. Initially the incumbent will be shadowing with Save the Children’s (SCI) Case Management Team.
∎ Key Area 1: Supervision and management of child protection case management services
∎ Supervise and support FO-CM on the identification, assessment, documentation, case planning, service provision and referral (to relevant services) and follow-up of at-risk children and families.
∎ Ensure case management services and alternative care are provided in line with the Inter-Agency Case Management Guidelines and the Foster Care Guidelines.
∎ Support outreach and awareness raising activities to identify vulnerable children according to agreed vulnerability criteria. Support the development of appropriate child protection information materials;
∎ Ensure appropriate alternative care arrangements for Unaccompanied and Separated Children (UASC), including foster care, supported independent living and support to separated children.
∎ Oversee the appropriate identification and screening, as well as follow up and monitoring, for foster families.
∎ Develop performance objectives with all FO-CM and provide regular feedback, one-to-one meetings and performance reviews.
∎ Provide technical support to FO-CM on complex child protection cases.
∎ Facilitate weekly case management meetings with all case workers.
∎ Prepare for and lead in regular structured individual supervision sessions with each caseworker (1 hour per caseworker every 1-2 weeks). Review the case planning and follow up of cases, and ensure all cases are managed within acceptable timeframes based on case prioritization criteria.
∎ Support in the ongoing capacity building of FO-CM on the SOPs, case management tools, ISP/DPISP, referral pathways, etc.
∎ Promote and facilitate FO-CM access to support to their own wellbeing
∎ Share information on field-level successes and challenges with the Program Officer and/or Project Coordinator. Ensure that major challenges are flagged early, and addressed in an appropriate way.
∎ Key Area 2: External and internal coordination and representation
∎ Support on and keep up-to-date a map of existing services to which children and families can be referred to. Build collaborative relationships with organization and service providers at the field level and support FO-CM to ensure effective referrals and collaboration.
∎ Work in close collaboration with the community mobilisers to strengthen our relationship with the community and to strengthen the referral system.
∎ Work with the child protection team to ensure close links between case management and our work with Child Protection Committees and in CFS.
∎ Ensure internal referral mechanisms (with other sectors) are in place and cases are appropriately managed and followed up when referred
∎ Coordinate with other agencies offering case management services to children on referral and transfer of cases
∎ Ensure constant and transparent communication and collaboration with relevant stakeholders, including community members, community leaders and families.
∎ Key Area 3: Data management and data protection principles
∎ Ensure that FO-CM respect confidentiality and follow ethical guidelines
∎ Ensure that files, registers and computer databases are used in an appropriate and correct manner and ensure FO-CM adhere to FIVDB and SCI’s Information Sharing and Data Protection Protocol
∎ Support the implementation of the Inter-Agency Child Protection Information Management System
∎ Ensure the case management tracker is kept up-to-date
∎ Ensure accurate case files are completed and that case management forms are utilized appropriately
∎ Work closely with the monitoring and evaluation team, provide support to develop and implement appropriate monitoring, evaluation and learning systems for child protection interventions, ensure links to report requirements.
∎ Be able and willing to respond to natural disasters or emergency situations in Bangladesh, when needed and any other task assigned by Supervisor.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 50 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Fluent in Bangla and basic English.
∎ Work as team player and has flexibility in his/her work
∎ Has to be willing to take challenge of working in a participatory approach for Rohingya Community/ Host Community
∎ Good communication, Facilitation and motivational skill.
∎ Understanding of local culture and language
∎ Abilities to undertake extensive travel to village level
∎ Ability to work under pressure.
∎ Fully conversant with MS-word, Excel, Power point and internet

Salary:
∎ Tk. 44672 (Monthly)
∎ TK. Up to 44,672.00 (Monthly) (fixed, taxes payable to be deducted)
