To ensure the effective implementation of Child Protection Case Management (CM) activities under the Humanitarian Crisis Management Programme (HCMP), this position provides technical support to case workers, identifies capacity-building needs, and ensures the delivery of quality case management services. The role includes monitoring the CPIMS+ platform, analyzing cases, and guiding case workers to take appropriate actions. Additionally, the position is responsible for maintaining the case management database and ensuring close coordination with the Child Protection sector and other HCMP programmes.
Oversee Child Protection case management services, ensuring quality, confidentiality, and secure case file management in line with inter-agency SOPs, CPIMS+, and organizational policies; provide technical guidance and directly manage complex and high-risk cases.
Supervise and mentor Child Protection (CP) case workers by providing ongoing technical guidance to ensure appropriate referrals, ethical case management, and the consistent application of survivor-centred approaches.
Engage with Child Protection Committees and other community-based protection mechanisms, and follow up on identified cases of vulnerability, including abuse, neglect,
child marriage, trafficking, disability, and GBV incidents.
Lead and support family tracing and reunification (FTR) for separated and unaccompanied children, in coordination with relevant authorities and child protection agencies
Monitor CP and GBV trends and protection risks, report key findings to the Senior technical officer, and recommend prevention and mitigation measures.
Identify gaps and challenges within CP and GBV referral pathways and work with protection staff, service providers, and local authorities to strengthen referral systems and response quality.
Ensure timely submission of weekly and monthly CP case management reports, maintaining accurate documentation while upholding strict data protection and confidentiality standards.
Assist to build-up staff capacity on case management intervention.
Prepare reports, budgets, and other required documents accurately and submit them to the respective authorities promptly.
Maintaining effective liaison and coordination with different sectors of HCMP, other sectors of BRAC, national and international NGOs, and especially the CiC Office to ensure smooth and efficient case management support and service delivery.
