Experience:
At least 03 years` working experience in development field on health program; Preference will be given to the candidates having experiences on integrated child development and advanced knowledge & skills on School Health Nutrition and Adolescent Development/Reproductive Health Program. Motor cycle driving skills with valid driving license is mandatory for this position.

SAINT-Bangladesh is seeking a professional for the position of Project Officer - AD & SHN (Adolescent Development and School Health & Nutrition) Development for the project titled “Integrated Child Development Project- Shishuder Jonno (ICDP-SJ)” funded by Save the Children International and the project has been implementing at Muladi and Bakerganj Upazilla in Barishal district from March 2019. Note that this requirement will depend on the availability of donor fund.
This Integrated Child Development Program has been engaging children, their families and community actors in order to address the needs of the children and to create enabling development environment for them. Save the Children have been continuing sponsorship interventions in its Rural Impact Area (IA) of Bakergonj & Muladi Upazila in Barishal District to implement long-term, age appropriate, children development program for 2019 to next 10 years. Note that this requirement will depend on the availability of donor fund.
Responsibilities:
The Project Officer- AD & SHN position is primarily responsible for capacity building of field staffs, volunteers, primary & secondary school teachers and stakeholders on School Health & Nutrition (SHN) and Adolescent Development (AD).
S/he will acts as one of the key technical persons to maintain technical standards of SHN & AD program for planning, monitoring and implementation at field guided by program strategies & plans maintaining strong coordination & collaboration with ECCD & BE program and Child Participation, Community Mobilization and ICT4D cross cutting issues.
This position will also assist field staff to coordinate with different GO/NGOs/private agencies for cooperation, collaboration and sharing programs at local level, whenever necessary.
And s/he will also coordinate between technical staff of Save the Children International (SCI) and SAINT so that activities are in place with expected standard and maintain similarity.
