Experience:
Bachelor`s degree in social science, economics, or relevant fields, post graduate level qualification in social science is preferred.
2-5 years of monitoring and evaluation experience in development contexts with NGOs. Experience with INGOs is preferred.
Experience with research methods and data management and analysis in development programming
Experience with the right-based programming and/or one of the priority areas of World Concern: Education, Child Protection, Disaster Risk Reduction, Environment, Transformational Development
Experience in evaluation design and management
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, including excellent internal consultation and liaison skills; facilitation and coaching skills
Excellent analytical and creative abilities with strong results orientation
Fluency in English and Bengali (spoken and written) is required

Other Requirements:
Willingness to work in the field at least 70 to 80% of the total time and mitigate the challenges.
Able to drive a motorbike and interested in traveling in rural areas having a valid driving license.
Applicant who has working experience in holistic transformational development, climate change, disaster risk reduction, good governance, Education, Water Sanitation & Hygiene and women empowerment-related projects will get special priority.
Should have good interpersonal skills.
Good command of Bangla and English.
Sound knowledge on computer operating (MS Ward, Excell, PowerPoint, photoshop, Net surfing)
Place of Work : This position is Field based (Tala, Satkhira) May require to transfer as per the organization's needs.
Working Hour : From 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. without any formal lunch break. Working days are from Saturday through Thursday. The staff may be required to work beyond these hours in emergencies.

Role of the position:
As a member of the Programme Development and Quality team, the MEAL Officer provides hands-on support and leads on specific MEAL activities. This includes designing and implementing a robust MEAL system in line with standards and procedures, Accountability and Learning Plans; conducting and supporting evaluation studies (baseline, midterm and end line), designing program monitoring tools, ensuring effective monitoring of program outputs and outcomes; and contributing to annual monitoring and reporting. The position also supports effective accountability systems, including beneficiary complaints and response systems; and will contribute to program and organizational learning processes.
Monitor the project activity, output, outcome & impact. Provide feedback by enhancing the skill and capacity of ALO project beneficiaries and other stakeholders and promote their knowledge on reducing Disaster Risk Reduction by disaster preparedness, introducing alternative livelihood, Agriculture, Climate Change Adaptation, leadership, human rights, justice, gender & good governance through education, advocacy, awareness building and non-violent social action, where World Concern Bangladesh is involved. Provide monitoring direction to the project staff and motivation to the stakeholders and beneficiaries for effectively achieving the program's objectives, developing their knowledge and skill.
