Experience:

Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in community development, disaster management, or related fields.
Prior experience in conducting PRAs, FGDs, and community mobilization activities.
Skills:
Strong communication, facilitation, and leadership abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office and report writing.
Understanding of sustainable livelihoods, risk assessment, and disaster response.
Behavioural Competencies:
Gender-sensitive and inclusive approach in community engagement.
Ability to work in remote locations and manage multiple tasks under pressure.

Reports to: Chief Executive of WJCC
Job Responsibilities
As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective implementation of project activities within your designated area. Key responsibilities include:
Community Engagement and Planning
Conduct community meetings at ward and union levels to mobilize and engage fisher folk.
Implement action plans based on community needs and priorities.
Distribution and Relief Operations
Oversee the distribution of goods, products, and materials as per project guidelines.
Ensure proper monitoring, documentation, and reporting of goods and material distribution activities.
Support relief work during emergencies in coordination with the project team.
Stakeholder Engagement
Communicate and collaborate with government representatives and other key stakeholders to gain support for project activities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with local authorities, community leaders, and partner organizations.
Monitoring and Reporting
Monitor project activities to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
Prepare and submit timely project reports, including monthly, quarterly, and event-specific updates.
Support the completion of Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) and ensure proper documentation of findings.
Support and Coordination
Provide support to the Project Coordinator in implementing field activities effectively.
Facilitate and oversee the implementation of risk assessment plans at the village level.
Actively participate in relief operations and ensure equitable and efficient support to affected communities.
Salary: 40,000 BDT and 1 festival bonus equivalent of 1 month gross salary yearly
