Responsibilities & Context:

BRAC is an international development organisation founded in Bangladesh in 1972 that partners globally with over 100 million people living with inequality and poverty to create opportunities to realise their potential.

The Deputy Manager, MIS is responsible for designing, managing, and strengthening digital data systems to support program monitoring, reporting, and decision-making under the BRAC–LEGO strategic partnership.

  • Design and manage MIS platforms (KoBo, CommCare, dashboards, databases)

  • Develop digital data collection tools and ensure standardization

  • Ensure timely data entry, validation, and storage across all project sites

  • Develop dashboards and visualization tools for real-time monitoring

  • Integrate MIS systems with MERL frameworks and reporting requirements

  • Troubleshoot system issues and provide technical support to field teams

  • Ensure data security, backup, and confidentiality protocols

  • Train staff on MIS tools and digital platforms

  • Support reporting through automated systems and data extraction

  • Coordinate with MERL and program teams to align data systems

  • Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment

  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action

  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so
