Job Responsibilities:
∎ Takes full responsibility for running and supervising water, sanitation, and hygiene programs at all stages of the project management cycle, ensuring the standard quality as per WASH sector guidelines.
∎ Responsible for accomplishing the project objectives and outcomes within the contextual constraints. Also ensures overall success of the program by making sure the WASH team completes all defined activities while adhering to internal standards and contractual obligations; within budget and with acceptable quality.
∎ Initiate the coordination of structures with the camp where information flow maintained on an accountable basis.
∎ Ensure designs are implemented as planned and achieve Quality WASH ) programs in community and institutions.
∎ Establish and organize regular supervision and monitoring plan/framework with regular updating of the planned versus achieved from office to the deep field level and held responsible what happening in the field.
∎ Assist the team lead to ensure the timely compilation of situation updates, projects, and monthly narrative reports for the field per required reporting formats, both internal monitoring and for funding reporting purposes.
∎ Implements design and system modifications appropriate for the continual improvement of the program in terms of design, methodology, and implementation to ensure quality projects delivered to the communities.
∎ Tracks all budgets per funds being implemented in fulfillment of funding specified activities, outputs and objectives, also take actions on financial reports with very strict follow up of any over/ under-spent.
∎ Provides supervision, guidance and monitoring of WASH field personnel through setup of task and close monitoring and be first line responsible for the field team.
∎ Work with the other partners to improve the coordination and keep the meeting minutes recorded and filed.
∎ Establish networking with communities and ensure their participation in the project implementation is well maintained.
∎ Assist the team lead in maintaining the good relationship with the sector partners and donors through timely feedback.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Qualifications in engineering in development related contexts preferred.
∎ Clear reporting and communication in English language
∎ Expert with GIS, data analysis software and water modeling software preferred.
∎ Professional, motivated, open, creative, mature, responsible, flexible, culturally sensitive
∎ Experience in managing teams.
∎ Have good experience in Project management.
