Responsibilities & Context:

Supervise day-to-day works of subordinates and subcontractors to ensure safe, efficient and reliable activities of the project. Ensure all activities are completed within the timeframe and efficiently with available resources.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing overall activities related to erection, commissioning.

  • Must have a good idea about the Solar Power Generation, MV/LV control panels, substation equipment, Civil construction and Mechanical erection and fabrications.

  • Responsible for overall coordination for successful project completion in compliance with Budget, PTS, Quality and Safety.

  • Responsible for planning, execution, coordination and administration of the construction project.

  • Prepare and recommend a comprehensive Project Management Plan with details of all resource requirements and project activities and their associated costs/budget.

  • Track and update the execution progress as per PTS. Also, review and refine the plan as the project progresses.

  • Manage and administer the overall activities of the relevant functions, including mechanical, electrical and civil subcontractors in compliance with PTS, budget, and quality and safety standards.

  • Identify and manage all critical issues and risks associated with construction.

  • Ensure the Safety & Security of the workforce & materials at the project site.

  • Overall responsibility for cost, schedule, safety, quality, risk management, engineering, construction, and startup of the Project.

  • Coordinate multiple contractors at various stages of the project.

  • Ensuring good housekeeping for safe working environment & reputation.

  • Coordinate with other departments like Engineering, Service, SCM, Finance, Admin, and HR for smooth functioning.

  • To ensure practice and training related to health, security and safety issues.

  • Manage day-to-day commercial and contractual issues.

  • Negotiation and selection of engineering and construction contractors.

  • Identify, communicate and manage risk.

  • Prepare and provide various periodic reports to the Management.
