Experience:
Minimum 10 years’ experience with NGOs/INGOs as Project Coordinator, Manager, or Officer and working with Female entrepreneurship development.
Team building capacity
Strong critical and analytical thinking capabilities
Computer literacy, including the ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Respect on gender, PSEA, Safeguarding and cultural diversity
Able to operate virtual communication platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.
Able to drive motorcycle with valid driving license.
Committed on response in any humanitarian emergency if necessary.
Shushilan, a national reputed NGO is going to implement a project entitled the Community Mobilization Programme (CMP) supported by SMC, focused on community engagement, behavior change, and health promotion. It operates through structured planning NGO partnerships, Gold Stare Member (GSM) networks, and BCC interventions such as meetings, training, and promotional campaigns. Under the CMP activities Shushilan will implement its assign activities in different Upazilas under Jhinahdha, Meherpur, Narail, Khulna and Satkhira district. Shushilan is inviting application from the qualified and interested candidates for the following position.
Job Description / Responsibility
Lead the overall planning, implementation, monitoring, and management of the Community Mobilization Programme (CMP) to ensure achievement of project goals and objectives.
Develop annual, quarterly, and monthly work plans, activity plans, implementation strategies, budgets, reporting formats, and operational plans in line with project requirements.
Ensure quality, timely, and cost-effective implementation of project activities in compliance with organizational and donor guidelines.
Provide strategic direction, technical assistances/guidance, and operational support to project staff at all level
Supervise, monitor, and evaluate project activities regularly, taking corrective actions to address implementation challenges and ensure projected results.
Conduct regular field visits to monitor progress, provide on-site coaching, hands-on training and strengthen the quality of program implementation.
Lead and facilitate community mobilization initiatives, advocacy activities, stakeholder engagement, capacity building training sessions, and awareness campaigns.
Build and maintain effective relations with government, local administrations, health and family planning authorities, NGOs, community leaders, and other relevant stakeholders.
Strengthen coordination and collaboration with SMC, partner organizations, and relevant stakeholders at national, district, and upazila levels.
Ensure proper financial management, budget utilization, administrative compliance, and maintenance of project records and documentation.
Supervise accounts, bookkeeping, and reporting processes to ensure transparency, accountability, and compliance with organizational policies.
Support human resource management, staff motivation, retention, day to day activities, performance monitoring, and capacity-building initiatives.
Facilitate mentoring, coaching, and professional development opportunities for project staff to enhance performance and leadership capacity.
Coordinate and facilitate monitoring, evaluation, research, learning, and donor/stakeholder visits.
Review and ensure timely submission of high-quality monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to Shushilan and SMC management.
Promote effective communication, teamwork, and collaboration among project teams and organizational departments.
Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the organizational management in support of project objectives.
