Job Context:
∎ Sheva Nari O Shishu Kallyan Kendra is a national NGO which works for the empowerment of women and other marginalized groups in Bangladesh. Sheva is implementing the Sustainable Enterprise Project (SEP) in partnership with Palli Karma Shahayak Foundation PKSF, funded by World Bank.
∎ Sheva Nari O Shishu Kallyan Kendra invites application for the posts mentioned bellow:
∎ Job Duration :1st July, 2021 to 30th June, 2023
Job Responsibilities:
∎ PM is responsible for initiate, designing, planning, controlling, executing, monitoring, and closing the project successfully.
∎ Lead and manage team to meet project targets are achieved timely paired with quality results.
∎ Implement project goals and policies that have been established in the project.
∎ Maintain regular communication with Sheva for implementing high standard program activities and advocacy with the relevant stakeholders
∎ Engage and coordinate with community leaders and other local facilitators.
∎ Facilitate backward and forward linkages.
∎ Maintain a good coordination with different stakeholders, and contribute in networking
∎ Supervise and monitor all phases of project.
∎ Accountable to HO on staff performance.
∎ Ensure quality of Project implementation and establish and maintain a strong accountability mechanism.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Minimum 10 years project related managerial experience in development projects. Candidate with specialized skills in training module development and imparting training will be given preference.
∎ At least 5 years experience at working grass-roots level.
∎ Technical Skills: As a leader of project implementation team, Project Manager should have sufficient knowledge on enterprise in community based Development, enterprise development (ME) and environmental assessments. S/he should be conversant with writing reports and doing presentations and have good management skills. In addition, s/he should be a good community mobilizer and be able to facilitate sessions. Good public speaking skills are essential.
∎ Other Skill: Should have to a passion for environment conservation and should have good organizational skills; Proficiency in English both in written and verbal; Computer skill on Office application and graphics design; good communication skill using different channels both digital and analog; good interpersonal relationship skill etc.
