Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinate with Protection Sector Lead to provide technical support to ensure a high standard of implementation of strategy and activities.
∎ Coordinate between Protection sector Lead and the SGBV Operations Team by providing feedback on MIS and performance of the team.
∎ Flag any potential issues in implementation identified by the team to the Protection Lead.
∎ Ensure SOP/Guidelines and QA guidelines are being followed in the field and monitor quality of field performance on a regular basis.
∎ Lead a team to Provide a comprehensive support to the Survivors of Sexual and Gender Based Violence.
∎ Develop Program/ sector plan, budget plan, activity plan and operational procedure, guidelines.
∎ Participate and contribute to the Strategic planning meeting, working group meeting and partners review meeting. Maintain a regular working relationship with relevant Gov. officials, UN agencies and other INGOs & local NGOs.
∎ Implement global standard of SGBV prevention and response suggested by UNHCR and UNICEF in Rohingya camp considering local context.
∎ Prepare periodic reports (narrative and quantitative) for donors, government and organization.
∎ Provide technical support on programme quality and accountability standards and measures.
∎ Lead capacity building of SGBV staffs through need assessments.
∎ Ensure that effective accountability mechanisms are in place.
∎ Contribute to the implementation of the joint work plan of the GiHA WG, Gender Hub incl. joint advocacy, analysis, technical support, capacity development.
∎ Coordinate with Gender based Violence (GBV) sub-sector.
∎ Provide technical support and capacity building for sector members.
∎ Develop proposals, budgets and result frameworks for the project implementation.
∎ Maintain regular communication with probable donor for creating further funding opportunities.
∎ Work with donors to create ongoing partnerships
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience of work in Protection GBV sector in emergency humanitarian crisis situations is an added advantage.
∎ Expertise in managing teams, conducting performance assessments and providing guidance to team members is necessary.
∎ Have excellent writing skill in proposals writing and liaising with donors as necessity.
∎ Experience in creating and managing MIS systems, budgets and results frameworks is necessary
