Educational Requirements:
∎ MSS/MA/MSc from any recognized approved university with minimum all 2nd division/class or equivalent GPA/ CGPA.2.5. Third division/class or CGPA below 2.5 is not acceptable.
∎ Certificate course/Training on road safety in country/abroad will be given advantage.
∎ Certificate course/Training on advocacy/communication/Legal will be given advantage.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare strategic and tactical plan for the project and implementing the project activities accordingly.
∎ liaison with officials of ministries, departments, divisions of GoB i.e. MoRT&B, BRTA, BRTC, development partners e.g. GRSP, WB, ADB etc.
∎ Make available of resources and linkages for smooth operation of the project.
∎ Conduct desk review for gap analysis in relation with traffic rules and regulations for key behavioural risk factors
∎ Organize meetings, workshops, sessions, press briefing which will contribute for strengthening traffic rules and regulations for key behavioural risk factors and Create supportive environment among relevant policymakers and key stakeholders
∎ Arrange webinar, campaigns, dialogues etc. for building strong support among the public and various sectors for strengthening legislation and regulations on key behavioural risk factors
∎ Support consultants for the developing policy position paper; revise traffic rules, regulation and laws based gap analysis sessions, consultation meeting, workshops etc.
∎ Organize events like National Road Safety day, International Road Safety week etc.
∎ Intra and inter departmental/program coordination.
∎ Managing finance and budget of the project
∎ Preparing and submission of reports e.g. inception, desk review, monthly, quarterly, half yearly, closing etc. and submit timely at right place.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Having at least 5 years' experience in proven project management specially in road safety, behaviours change communication (BCC) and monitoring evaluation and learning (MEAL).
∎ Retired Government officials will be given advantage.
∎ Prepare reports as per donor and management requirement
∎ Activities related to improvement of Road Safety programme are given by the supervisor
Salary: Negotiable
