Educational Requirements:
∎ Master’s Degree or equivalent in Disaster Management/ Development Studies/ any other relevant subject from any reputed university.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare knowledge products for DRR project.
∎ Prepare budgets and project proposals within the time bound.
∎ Prepare DRR bulletin and expose through mail communication in HCMP on regular basis.
∎ Facilitate training on DRR, emergency/ rapid responses to the staff of DRR and across the sectors/ units of HCMP.
∎ Prepare/ update financial tracking on regular basis for burn rate calculation and to ensure effective and efficient burn rate.
∎ Visit the Project activities of camps and host communities.
∎ Support/ provide lead in emergency preparedness, response, and recovery activities in case of any disaster event.
∎ Support to prepare situational report/response bulletin.
∎ Good understanding on alert and warning system for disaster management and support to prepare regular weather forecast and circulate.
∎ Assist in the development and implementation of DRR strategies.
∎ Work with PDDR and Grants team for effective programme development, proposal development and to improve the quality of the DRR intervention.
∎ Conduct necessary communication and provide feedback based on reports and observations for necessary actions to ensure proper programme implementation and improvement.
∎ Be responsible for proper implementation through, capacity building, quality training module preparation including inputs supply and effective coordination for organizing all kinds of sector training on DRM, DRR and Humanitarian issues.
∎ Review and monitor as well as modify financial reports and analysis regarding the budget to internal control and compliance on a regular basis.
∎ Prepare reports in time (Daily/weekly/monthly/Need base) share to all the internal & external stakeholders as and when required.
∎ Be involved in fund raising, proposal writing and submission to donors’ organization, searching and attract donors through bi-lateral way.
∎ Assist the preparation and implementation of the work plans and result frameworks as endorsed by the management.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
